Magnetite Iron Ore

Magnetite is an iron mineral which is in a ferrimagnetic spinal structure and indicated with Fe₃O₄ formula. Also known as ferroferric oxide, magnetite is also named to be iron 2-3 oxide. Its chemical formula is also written as FeO.Fe₂O₃. This formula shows that iron has two different valences at the same time.
